THE RACE
Join World Thrombosis Day partners and healthcare professionals from around the world for an exciting 5K taking place as an independent event during the largest thrombosis and haemostasis conference in the world – ISTH 2022.
Participate in person and run through historic Victoria Park in London on July 10, or run virtually on your own time to raise awareness of thrombosis and funds for World Thrombosis Day and Thrombosis UK.
THE COURSE
Come and run a chip-timed 5k around the wide, flat paths of Victoria Park on Sunday 10th July 2022! If you are looking for a PB course, or wanting to try out a new distance – this is the race for you.
ABOUT WORLD THROMBOSIS DAY
Recognized on 13 October, World Thrombosis Day (WTD) focuses attention on the often overlooked and misunderstood condition of thrombosis. WTD seeks to increase global awareness of thrombosis, including its causes, risk factors, signs/symptoms and evidence-based prevention and treatment. Ultimately, we strive to reduce death and disability caused by the condition.
